Myles Johnson
Community Youth Educator
Myles Johnson, is a native to the capital city. Since he was in high school Myles has had a passion for politics and wanted to make an impact on his community. So after graduating from Sexton High School as Class President and receiving a degree in Advertising from Bowling Green State University, he returned home and decided to run for Ingham County Commissioner. Due to his experience growing up around poverty he decided it was time for him to get involved in his community and make a difference. It took months of running social media campaigns, walking throughout the community, volunteers, and raising funds, for Myles to become the only black Ingham County Commissioner. He accomplished this by gaining trust from the community, the same community that he was raised in.
